Verifications are a way to connect your bedbid profile to other personal information about you, such as your Facebook profile, phone number, email address, or photo ID.

We offer a variety of verification methods. You can see which verifications someone has completed by looking for verification badges on their profile.

There are many reasons why you may have missed an email from us. Here are a few steps to help you investigate.

1. Make sure your email address is correct.

If you’ve changed email providers since you joined bedbids, we might be sending emails to your old address. If you’re new to bedbids, you may have entered your address incorrectly. Here’s how to check:

1. Click your name in the top-right corner of bedbids.ie.
2. Select Edit Profile.
3. Look for the Email Address field. Make sure your address is correct.
4. If it’s incorrect, enter the correct address, scroll to the bottom of the page, and click Save. Future emails should now find their way to the correct address.

2. Check your email notification settings.

We’ll only send the emails you tell us you want. Check your notification settings to make sure you haven’t opted out of the email type you’re looking for:

1. Click your name in the top-right corner of bedbids.ie.
2. Select Account.
3. Click Notifications and look for the Email Settings area. Make sure you’re opted in to the emails you’d like to receive.
4. After adding or removing checkmarks from the right boxes, scroll to the bottom of the page and click Save.

3. Search all messages in your email inbox.

Emails are often easy to overlook. Make sure you’ve used your email service provider’s search feature to look for the email. Search for terms like “bedbids”, “reservation”, “verification”, or other words associated with the email you’re looking for.

4. Check your spam and other email filters.

It’s possible your email provider mistakenly sent our messages to your spam or junk folder. You can help avoid this by removing bedbids messages from your spam list and adding automated@bedbids.ie,  to your personal email address book. If you have other filters or routing rules in your email client that might have sorted  bedbids emails elsewhere, be sure to check those, too.

5. Check for issues with your email service provider.

Depending on your provider, emails can take up to a few hours to be delivered. If undelivered or delayed emails are an ongoing problem, check with your provider to see if there are any configuration issues or problems with their network that might be affecting deliverability.

Login notifications are an extra security feature that can help you find out if someone is accessing your bedbids account without your knowledge.

When you turn on login notifications, we’ll send you an email whenever your account is accessed from a web browser. In these emails, we’ll give you information on the type of Internet browser used to access your account, the time your account was accessed, and where we believe it was accessed from.

To turn login notifications on:

1. Click your name in the top-right corner of bedbids.ie
2. Select Account
3. Click Security in the menu on the left side of your screen
4. Look for the pane titled Login Notifications and place a check in the box next to Enable login notifications
5. Click Save

If you use certain browsers often, you can mark them as trusted. We won’t notify you when your account is accessed from a trusted browser. You should only mark a browser as trusted if you trust everyone who uses it.

If you ever think someone has made changes to or accessed your bedbids account without your knowledge, let us know.

3. You’ll see a Add to trusted browsers? window appear. Select the option next to Trust this browser.
4. Click Save.

Push notifications

We can let you know when you have new bedbid messages, reservation requests, and more via text message push notification alerts. These notifications may be sent at any time, based on your notification settings.

To turn text message notifications on or off and manage the types of mobile notifications you receive, visit the notifications menu in your account settings:

1. Click your name in the top-right corner of airbnb.com
2. Select Account
3. Click Notifications in the menu on the left side of your screen
4. Look for the Mobile Notifications / Text Messages pane. You can manage your settings here.

When you opt in to push  notifications, we’ll send you a text to confirm your signup.

We only support sending SMS on carriers in North America and Europe. Standard message and data rates may apply for any messages sent or received, so it’s best to contact your wireless provider to confirm. Participating carriers: AT&T, CBW, nTelos, Sprint, Nextel, Boost, Virgin Mobile, Verizon Wireless, T-Mobile, and Alltel.

To change the email address you use on Bedbids:

1. Click your name in the top-right corner of bedbids.ie
2. Select Edit Profile
3. Next to Email Address, enter the email address you want to use
4. Click Save at the bottom of the page

Your email address can only be associated with one bedbids account at a time. If you get a notification that your email address is already in use but you can’t remember your password for that account, you might need to change your password.

I forgot my password.

If you’ve forgotten your password or are having trouble logging in to your bedbidsaccount, visit www.bedbids.ie/forgot_password. Enter the email address you use for bedbidsand you’ll be emailed a link to reset your password.

I want to change my password.

1. Visit your Security tab. Click your name in the top-right corner of airbnb.com, select Account, then click Security in the menu on the left side of your screen.
2. Look for the Change Your Password pane and follow the instructions
